Blogging at Business Communicators of Second Life

Of late, I have been doing my blogging over at Business Communicators of Second Life.  Come on over and check it out.  I'm excited to say that Reuters is using my blog feed for their newly announced dedicated Second Life News Bureau.

While I get lots of traffic on my "how-to" posts here, I feel there is an overwhelming number of blogs that have sprung up in the last two years that I have been blogging - many excellent ones covering the topic of what's happening in new media.  Being that I like to keep ahead of the curve, I felt it was time to move over to a topic that was getting less attention - and one I felt was a growing need.  And that is Second Life, virtual worlds and the coming Web3D.  I've been writing the blog since July and I think it is a helpful  summary and commentary on the next phase of the web, interactivity and our business communications.

I started a group inside of Second Life specifically for business communicators to learn to understand the impact and importance of this environment.  Within just a couple of months we have 40 people in the group and we're holding monthly meetings in Second Life with people who have accomplished interesting things and who are leading the way.  They always give us insights into how to integrate the virtual environments into our our campaigns and businesses.

So, find me over at Business Communictors of Second Life - and add your thoughts!  And, go into Second Life and join our group.  Find out more and how to join here - it's painless, totally free and fun!
